How are videos and claims checked?

Every video is reviewed against your brief, and every claim is checked against the creator’s analytics before your budget pays it.

Two reviews stand between a creator's post and your budget.

Video review

Every submitted video is checked against your brief before it counts toward the campaign. One that misses the brief is rejected with a clear reason, so the creator can make one that does, or fix the post and submit it again while it is still inside the submit window; it is then reviewed again from the start. Every Buzzing post is checked by a person.

Claim review

When a creator claims earnings, they normally upload a screen recording of the video's analytics from their own account. A reviewer compares it with the views we tracked and checks the audience's top country against the market you are targeting. We flag the patterns fake views leave behind, and claims whose views dropped since they were filed. On an Instagram carousel, whose views only its creator can see, the creator types the views from their Insights and the reviewer confirms them from the recording, never above what was typed.

Your budget

  • It is charged only when a claim is approved.
  • A video's first claim opens 7 days after it is submitted, or 3 days on campaigns paid only per post, and each later claim 3 days after the previous one is approved.
  • Nobody can review their own claim.
